Take the Ferry ride and your there! Matakana Island - just beautiful.
Ten whanau from the remote, (but oh so close to Tauranga) Matakana Island graduated at Te Awanui Hauora complex.
Well done to everyone who participated in the programme and a special thanks to Hinewai for facilitating the training.
Hopefully in the not to distant future Chorus will enable most of the Island to handle ADSL and naked Broadband so whanau can be connected.
